Our mission is to provide personalized, non-medical in-home services that empower seniors to lead fulfilling lives — while offering genuine peace of mind to their families.
We believe that getting older should not mean giving up the life you love. With the right support, seniors can remain safe, engaged, and at home — where they belong.
Every client who comes to Opulent Parents receives a thorough intake process, a personalized care plan, and a provider who shows up consistently and professionally. We don’t just check boxes. We build relationships.
Some businesses are built from opportunity. Opulent Parents was built from love — and from loss.
My mother, Sandra Dean Allen, spent her career as a certified home health aide, a woman who gave herself fully to caring for others in their most vulnerable moments. Then in 1999, the tables turned. She was diagnosed with renal failure, and over the next two decades, became an amputee who required the same level of devoted, dignified care she had always given so freely.
For 23 years, I was her advocate. Her voice. Her support. I walked alongside her through every hospitalization, every transition, every hard decision — and I did it with the grounding of someone who had spent years working directly for gynecologists, general practitioners, and ophthalmologists, and who had earned her training as a home health aide in New Jersey. I understood the clinical world. But what those 23 years with my mother taught me could not be learned in any office or classroom.
I learned that a senior’s home is sacred. That consistency is a form of love. That families carrying the weight of caregiving need a partner they can trust without hesitation.
When my mother passed, I carried that knowledge forward and built what I always wished had existed for her.
